Clinton Woods' bid to become a world champion for the third time failed when he was outpointed by Tavoris Cloud in Florida. The unbeaten Cloud took the vacant IBF Light Heavyweight belt with a unanimous decision from all three judges who scored the contest 116-112

Matthew Hatton eager for World date

Inspired by the visit of Muhammad Ali to the Hatton gym, Matthew Hatton is now keen to get on with his own world title bid. He told Hatton TV that he expects a confirmed date for the fight any day now. The contest is likely to take place in Manchester in November.

Young Muhammad Ali hopes for future glory

13 year old Muhammad Ali from Skipton in Yorkshire was at Hatton Health & Fitness to meet his namesake and idol when The Greatest visited Hyde.   The young Ali had 16 bouts last season and won them all including the National Schools Championships and the 3 Nations tournament. He has also been selected to represent England in the European Champonships in Russia in September. The young Ali and his coach Keith Tate from Cleckheaton Police Boxing Academy spoke to Hatton TV
