Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr have been ordered to submit to urine tests within 48 hours or face possible fines or suspension by the Nevada State Athletic commission.

Legendary boxing manager Terry Lawless who guied the careers of a generation of British World Champions has died in Spain aged 76. He had been ill for several years and passed away in the early hours of Christmas Eve following a gall bladder operation in Marbella.

Recent Hatton signing Craig Lyon, the promising bantamweight from St Helens is hoping that 2010 will be his year. Bristol author Jack Allen is hoping that funds raised by his new book "The Bristol Boys" will help raise money for a plaque to commemorate the days of the bare knuckle fighters who at times drew crowds of tens of thousands to watch in the late 1700's & early 1800's.
