Travis Dickinson wins Prizefighter

Travis Dickinson won Prizefighter Light Heavyweights II on a thrilling night of action at London's Olympia. Dickinson stopped wild card replacement Sam Couzens  who replaced Tony Dodson who was pulled out of the final by the doctor because he sustained three bad cuts.  He won  in the second round of the final to claim a £32,000 cheque and extend his professional record to 11-0.

Timothy Bradley wins unification fight

Timothy Bradley unified the WBO and WBC light-welterweight titles with a technical-decision win over Devon Alexander in Michigan. The fight was pretty dull and came to a sudden halt in the tenth round when Alexander suffered a badly cut eye after a clash of heads. A ringside doctor ruled that Alexander was unable to continue and WBO champion Bradley took the resultant verdict and his opponent's WBC belt with scores of 98-93, 97-93 and 96-95.

Vitali Klitschko has come face to face with challenger Odlanier Solis for the first time at the start of the promotional effort for their WBC world Heavyweight title fight in Cologne on March 19th. Khan v McCloskey is off
