Alexander Alekseev held onto his European cruiserweight title in Goeppingen, Germany on Friday night by virtue of a majority draw with former WBA titlist Firat Arslan. Despite his 41 years, Arslen battled throughout the fight and even moved through the gears in the latter stages but it was enough to capture the continental crown as Alekseev also upped his game to earn a share of the spoils.
