Sergio Martinez will not box again this year due to
injuries sustained in his fight with Martin Murray at the
weekend.
The Argentinian southpaw scored a close and controversial
decision over Murray in Buenos Aires but left the ring with a
broken hand and an injury to his right knees.
His promoter Lou DiBella has confirmed to Espn.com that
the knee injury is likely to require surgery and will him out of
action for the remainder of 2013.

St Helens' Murray showed no signs of fear as he went into
the lion's den and pitched a performance which many feel was good
