Anthony Ogogo showed his growing ability as a pro on his US
debut last night, defeating Puerto Rican veteran Edgar Perez over
six rounds.
The Olympic bronze medallist showed good combinations throughout

Cheered on by Bernard Hopkins, Ogogo opened up a cut close to
Perez's right eye in the second round and continued to target the
wound until the final bell.
On several occasions it looked like the Lowestoft man might be

Australian light-heavyweight prospect Damien Hooper needed just
64 seconds to record his second professional win Brisbane on
Thursday night.
The Aboriginal puncher began scoring his fast and accurate shots
from the off against Kashif Mumtaz.
Naturally, the Pakistan-born Kiwi retreated to the ropes but
Hooper closed down the space and finished things with heavy shots
to the body.
