Liverpool super-flyweight has been banned for two years after
failing a drugs test.
The UK Anti-Doping agency has confirmed that the boxer
tested positive for benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine, after
losing to Paul Butlin on November 9, 2012.
It will mean that he is out of action until November 26
next year at least.

London Olympian Damien Hooper.
The 21-year-old Australian light-heavyweight, who is from a
proud aboriginal heritage, defeated Marcus Browne of the United
States last summer prior to being edged out by Russia's eventual
gold medallist Egor Mekhontcev.
Before that Hooper had won a gold medal at the 2010 Youth
Olympics in Singapore and a silver at the Youth World Championships
