The town of Bury is buzzing on the boxing bug again after their
favourite son Scott Quigg thrilled the masses at the Castle Leisure
Centre with a stunning first round knockout of Andrei Kostin.
A sharp right set up an accurate uppercut for Quigg and Kostin
fell back to the canvas.
Bravely, the eastern European elected to fight on but it wasn't
long until Quigg detonated another right uppercut to the jaw that
left him on his back. He got up unsteadily and referee Howard
Foster correctly stopped the fight.
