Hatton Promotions has made no secret of the fact that the organisation has been set up to mirror the successful format pioneered by Golden Boy Promotions in the United States. The Hatton-Pacquiao fight is jointly promoted by Golden Boy with Top Rank and Richard Schaefer, the CEO of Golden Boy, is working closely with Hatton Promotions CEO Gareth Williams on future projects.
