Amir Khan has revealed that is going to take some time off to
celebrate Ramadan before aiming for a ring return in December.
And he's hoping that fight will be a rematch with Danny
Garcia.
The American stopped Khan inside four rounds on Saturday night
to take the WBC, WBA and Ring magazine light-welterweight
titles.
25-year-old Khan, however, wants to set the record straight at
the earliest opportunity.
"This will only drive me and motivate me to go forward," he told
The BBC.
"I'm looking at fighting again in December and we're hoping it
is against Danny Garcia."
He also poured scorn on suggestions that he should consider
hanging up his gloves.
"I can't believe people are talking about retiring which is
crazy as I'm only 25. Some people don't turn professional until
they're 25," Khan stated.
