Middleweight Brian Vera once again defeated former WBC
light-middleweight Sergio Mora over twelve rounds in their rematch
in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday night.
Judges scored the bout 118-110, 117-111, 114-114.
Vera defeated Mora on a majority decision back in February 2011
and employed the same tactic to win this one.
The Texan's relentless pressure prevented Mora from using his
southpaw jab effectively, and although his work was often scruffy,
he never allowed his work rate to drop off.
