Eamonn O'Kane fights for his first pro title on September 22,
taking on Craig Windsor Jr. for the Celtic middleweight title at
the Odyssey Arena in Belfast.
O'Kane moved his unbeaten record to 7-0 after claiming the
24th edition of Matchroom Sport's eight man Irish
Prizefighter tournament in May and the 30-year -old is gunning for
more honours in the capital.
Scotsman Windsor Jr. is also aiming to win his first pro
honours, but at the third attempt for the 29 year old having fought
for the International Masters and British Masters titles last
year.
O'Kane's title fight is the latest to feature on a stacked bill
topped by Carl Frampton as the Belfast star defends his
Commonwealth and IBF Inter-Continental super bantamweight belts in
a huge clash with two-time World champion Steve Molitor.
Paul McCloskey is aiming to get back into title contention and
he takes on WBA ranked American lightweight contender Manuel
Perez.
Martin Lindsay challenges Lee Selby for the Welshman's British
and Commonwealth featherweight titles while fellow Belfast fighters
Jamie Conlan and Dee Walsh will also be in action, and Team GB
stars Scotty Cardle, Kal Yafai and Martin Ward all continue their
pro education in Belfast.
