A judge in Florida has denied a request for an emergency stay
from WBA super-bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux, which
would have enabled him to fight next month.
Last week, the same judge upheld the contract of his manager
Gary Hyde and issued an injunction stopping the boxer making the
second defence of his title.
Rigondeaux was due to put his belt on the line against Robert
Marroquin on the undercard of Sergio Martinez's clash with Julio
Cesar Charvez Jnr in Las Vegas.
