Bolton favourite Amir Khan will face Carlos Molina in
December.
The fight with the unbeaten American will be Khan's first under
new trainer Virgil Hunter, the man who has taken Andre Ward to
super-middleweight supremacy.
Speaking on the Sky Sports show Soccer AM, Khan said that the
clash is likely to happen on either December 1 or 15 and is hoping
that it can be made on these shores.
"We're still in talks about where the fight's going to be. I've
got a great UK fan base and I'd like to bring the fight over here
for them. But by next week I'll hopefully know where the fight will
be," he said.
"Any undefeated fighter is a good fighter. I could have taken
easy routes from my last fight but I want to step in with the big
boys. It will be a tough test."
26-year-old Molina, from Rosemead, California, has a record
consisting on 17 wins with seven KOs and one draw.
