Sergio Martinez has predicted this weekend's clash with Julio
Cesar Chavez Jnr will end in a knock out.
The pair meet at the Thomas & Mack Centre in Las Vegas on
Saturday night in a clash which will determine who is the best
middleweight on the planet.
It's a also a fight which pits two men with very different
histories against each other.
Chavez Jnr has been under the media spotlight since turning pro
due to him being the son of a Mexican legend.
In contrast, Martinez has often had to take hard fights away
from home in order to get the respect his skills deserve.
"I have worked very hard for the past two months and people will
see who the real middleweight champion is," Martinez said on this
week's conference call.
"We all know that Chavez has the title, but on September 15th,
the belt will go to the rightful owner and that is Sergio.
"It is personal. Not only do I want the title, but I have wanted
to fight Chavez for a long time.
"It is very simple. I cannot accept the fact he is world
champion. The only reason he is world champion is because he is
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, the son of the legend and his mouth is so
big - even bigger than his own brain and he's talking too much.
"The speed and the power that I will deliver to Chavez will be
enough to knock him out. I will not wait for the judges."
