Manny Pacquiao's return to action has been pushed back to a new
date for the third time but he still intends on boxing before the
year is out.
Originally, the Filipino idol was set to fight in November but
his promoter, Top Rank, has now put in a former request to the
Nevada State Athletic for December 8 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas
to be reserved.
"As is the customary procedure for working with the NSAC, we
requested the date from them," Carl Moretti, Top Rank's vice
president, said.
"The potential matchups are all being discussed with Manny and
his team, and we anticipate the process to be completed in a timely
fashion for all involved."
No opponent has been confirmed as yet but it is rumoured that a
fourth fight with Juan Manuel Marquez could be in the offing.
