Devon Alexander ripped the IBF welterweight title from the grasp
of Randall Bailey on Saturday night and now looks to defend against
Britain's Kell Brook in early 2013.
All three judges had the Saint Louis southpaw winning, with
scores of 115-111, 116 -110 and 117-109.
However, despite the comprehensive nature of the victory, both
boxers were regularly booed throughout the contest.
Meanwhile Brook halted Hector Saldivia in three rounds, but
seems to favour a clash with Amir Khan before pressing his
mandatory position.
