Unbeaten heavyweight Tyson Fury is likely to find himself in
serious trouble with the British Boxing Board of Control over his
recent outbursts aimed at Liverpool's David Price.
Following Price's one round blow out of Audley Harrison at the
weekend, Fury said in a Channel 5 interview that was going to do
the Liverpudlian "some serious harm" and referred to Tony Bellew as
Price's "gay lover".
Fury, 24, then took his anger to the social networking site
Twitter.
"I'm gonna smash your face in you s***house Scouse c***", he
tweeted.
"I look in your eyes and see fear! I'll take your sole (spelt
wrong) and give it to the devil."
Robert Smith, the general secretary of the BBBofC, said he was
unimpressed with the comments and is considering disciplinary
action against Fury.
He said: "I'm very disappointed by this. I've already spoken to
the chairman, Charles Giles, about it this morning.
"I'm seeing him at an event tonight and we'll discuss it again
then."
