Sheffield's unbeaten Kell Brook has thrown down the gauntlet to
British rival Amir Khan.
In a heated exchange on Sky Sport's Ringside, the 26-year-old
Yorkshireman denied that Khan had gotten the better of him a
sparring session several years ago and predicted he'd knock the
2004 Olympian out if they ever met in the ring.
"If Amir comes up to 147lbs and he is in with me it is not going
to be good," Brook said.
"We know that he cannot take a shot too well. It would be just a
matter of time before I landed one and he would be gone."
Brook added that he believes Ricky Hatton would be a tougher
opponent than Khan at welterweight because of his experience and
his ability to take punches.
