Former IBF super-bantamweight champion Takalani Ndlovu has
admitted that he is in the last chance saloon and must defeat
Alejandro Lopez on Saturday night if he is to get another crack at
world honours
The pair clash at the El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, Texas,
with the winner moving a step closer to a showdown with reigning
IBF kingpin Nonito Donaire.
And Ndlovu says he'll be left in no man's land if he cannot
score his 34th career victory.
"I know that at my age this kind of opportunities, are not going
to come again. That is why I need to take advantage of this one and
put myself in line for another world championship fight," the
34-year-old South African said.
"To be honest I thought my last chance had come and gone when I
lost my title to Jeffrey Mathebula in March.
"I was surprised that this opportunity came about and now I got
to do my job and get myself back in a championship fight."
