Scott Harrison's hopes of winning a world title again
appear to be in tatters after he was today sentenced to another
four years in a Spanish jail.
The 35-year-old from Belshill was found guilty of assault
at a trial in Malaga.
The prosecution claimed that the boxer attacked three men
at a brothel in the resort back in 2007.
He received a sentence of two years each for two of the
attacks and was ordered to pay a fine for the third.
It is believed that Harrison is planning on launching an
appeal and still intends to fight John Simpson in Glasgow on
December 1.
Harrison, who attended court with his fiancée and son, was
only released from jail in Spain last year after serving 30 months
for assaulting two men, one of which was a police officer, in
2006.
