Frampton wins in seven

Carl Frampton retained his Commonwealth super-bantamweight title by stopping Kris Hughes at York Hall.

Frampton finished the contest with a right hook in the seventh round.  Hughes just made it back to his feet but was clearly unfit to continue.

Next Saturday, British champion Scott Quigg defends his title against Jamie Arthur at Bolton.
