Danny McIntosh is targeting a return with WBO light-heavyweight
champion Nathan Cleverly after his rid himself of Tony Bellew in
April.
The Norwich puncher lost to the Welshman back in the summer of
2009, and has had his eye on a rematch ever since.
Likewise, Bellew was beaten by Cleverly last October and views
this contest as a way of pressing forward his claim for another
shot at Britain's only current world champion.
"I'm looking at Tony as a stepping stone. He's looking for a
rematch with Cleverly but so am I," McIntosh said.
And he sees victory coming his way by the short route.
"Listen, he's gonna get stopped," Danny stated. "He throws more
punches than me but whether or not he connects is another
thing.
"Bellew brings a hell of a lot of power, he also fought Cleverly
and nearly beat him but I can't say he's got a lot more experience.
He brings a lot of will and as I said, a lot of power, but he's
getting stopped."
