Nicola Day

Nicola is one of the team’s most experienced tutors with more than 10 years’ teaching PT and fitness instructor qualifications.

Having first qualified as a sports therapist, Nicola preferred the practical side and became a fitness instructor, before setting up her own PT business three years later and combining this with a role as fitness manager for a golf and country club in Essex.

With extensive experience in teaching a range of group fitness classes, Nicola’s introduction to boxing was slightly more unorthodox; following a burglary at her home, Nicola’s husband booked her into a boxing class and she instantly fell in love with the sport, training as an instructor during her maternity leave.

Outside of boxing and fitness, Nicola has recently taken up powerlifting. She also played club hockey for many years and represented Cambridgeshire.
